Alpha Wire Expands its Cable Gland Portfolio to Include Metal and Black Plastic Glands 

GlandsAlpha Wire proudly announces the expansion of the FIT Cable Gland portfolio to include black plastic and metal glands. Initially launched in November 2017, Cable Glands are the latest extension to the FIT Wire Management family of accessories. Cable Glands provide a great solution for cable strain relief, sealing enclosures, along with cables and systems protection against flames, dust, and water in an industrial application.

The extension includes a full range of easy installation glands available in three different types and in various sizes. Alpha’s standard dome glands are now available in slate and black plastic, as well as nickel plated brass. Flexible spiral glands and hole plugs are available in slate and black plastic. All products are available in NPT, metric, and PG thread sizes.

  • Equipped with chloroprene rubber seals and locknuts
  • Temperature ranging up to +150°C
  • Rubber seals protect against dripping water
  • Protected against heightened water pressure in accordance with IP68

The Cable Glands feature a large clamping range and various approvals including IP66, IP68 (5 bar, 30min), UL 514, C22.2, and RoHS. Products are in stock and are sold in packages of 10 pieces.
