The CE (Conformitè Europèenne) mark verifies that XTRA·GUARD^® cables meet the criteria set by a European Directive - a standard that relates to health, safety and consumer protection similar to UL or the NEC in the United States. XTRA·GUARD^® cables are now recognized as compliant with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD 73/23/EEC) issued by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

The CE approval applies to:

CE compliance assures the user of the quality and safety that have been designed into XTRA·GUARD^® cable construction, and that all approved items can be sold, shipped and used safely within the European Community.
