With a continuing focus on developing cost effective solutions for electrical and electronics technicians, Alpha Wire Company has developed an innovative and economical repair kit for cable applications - FIT® MGKIT1. This newest addition to Alpha Wire's line of FIT® Preferred Heat Shrink Products includes another company exclusive: the FIT® MINIGUN, a powerful yet compact heat gun that delivers precise, controllable heat up to 1000°F, making it the perfect tool for use with the entire range of FIT® heat Shrink Tubing. Included in the economical FIT® MGKIT1 is a functional variety pack of Alpha Wire's industry-leading FIT®-221 General Purpose Irradiated Polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing in 6-inch cut pieces and in various sizes and colors (FIT®-221-R).

The core of the cable repair kit is Alpha Wire's celebrated FIT®-221 tubing. The irradiated polyolefin tubing delivers Flexibility and excellent flame retardancy in a tubing that is ideal for use in wire Harnesses, cable/connector protection, Insulation or terminals and more. Included in the FIT® MGKIT1 cable repair kit is a 60-piece assortment of General Purpose FIT® 221, including 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 sizes, and in black, white, red, blue, yellow and green. The tubing meets a variety of standards, including MIL-I-23053/5B, UL Standard 224 and CSA Standard 198. Customers can reorder the FIT®-221 (FIT®-221-R) Variety Pack as needed.
