Alpha Wire Company announces the release of its newest heat shrinkable tubing innovation -- FIT® FABRIC. An extension of Alpha's popular FIT® Preferred Heat Shrink Products, FIT® FABRIC incorporates superior abrasion protection and unmatched chemical resistance over a wide temperature range. And like all FIT® Shrinkable Tubing this latest addition is designed for electrical and electronic applications in tough environments where high-tech equipment is used.

FIT® FABRIC is the ultimate tubing for high flex applications, particularly in harsh industrial settings. Resistant to chemicals such as antifreeze, engine oil, detergents gasoline and diesel fuel, and more, FIT® FABRIC delivers protection from severe operating environments along with optimal mechanical Abrasion Resistance. And the tubing is the ideal complement for Alpha's industry-leading series of industrial strength flexible cables, including XTRA·GUARD® Standard-Flex Control Cable and High-Flex Control Cable.

FIT® FABRIC is designed for soft, safe handling - the tubing cuts with scissors - and its tight grip styling eliminates the need for any additional fixing. With an operating temperature of -40°C to 125°C the flexible tubing can be used in an almost limitless number of critical applications - from high abrasion mechanical settings to extreme flexing industrial / robotic applications.

Halogen free, FIT® FABRIC has been specifically developed for use in enclosed areas where toxic fire emissions could threaten operator safety or damage sensitive equipment. FIT® FABRIC delivers excellent fire safety characteristics combined with low smoke emissions while providing optimum abrasion, mechanical and chemical resistance.
