Wire's New, Flameless Butane Torch Delivers More Power and
Greater Control for Field Service Repairs
Elizabeth,
NJ - Alpha Wire Company has unveiled a next generation, powerful
heating tool designed for use with the company's popular line
of FIT®
Preferred Heat Shrink Products. The FIT®
FBT-1 flameless butane torch is an advanced field repair instrument
that offers high-temperature heating up to 1400 °F (750 °C).
Designed for industrial applications requiring high-volume,
flameless heat, the FIT®
FBT-1 incorporates an automatic electronic ignition
system and adjustable temperature control. Weighing less than
5 ounces (135 grams) when gas filled, the torch uses standard
butane fuel and can operate at a mid-point setting for 120
minutes on a single 20 ml refill. An electronic catalytic
converter in the tip provides heat for safe, flameless combustion.
The precision nozzle and gas temperature control make the
FTB-1 a versatile heating tool for use with allFIT®
Preferred Heat Shrink Products and the perfect field service
tool for general heating and drying applications, as well
as for "heat testing" of electronic components.
Practical and powerful, the torch has been field tested for
rugged durability and dependable, economical use.
"Alpha Wire understands how challenging field service repair
can be, and we know that technicians need specific tools that
work as advertised," said Glen Paporello, Senior Product Alpha
Wire FBT-1 / page two Manager. "The FIT®
FBT-1 has been an immediate hit with repair technicians
because it delivers high performance heat in such a convenient
package. Its compact size and lightweight design make the
torch easy to manipulate, yet as powerful as larger, cumbersome
heating tools. The FBT-1 is the ideal combination of
power, functionality and cost-effective performance."
